Welcome to The Kitchen Disco! It only seems right to kick things off with the very first disco song that I fell in love with, "Le Freak" by Chic. I was six years old and my dad bought me the 45 because he was truly tired of having to play "Disco Duck" for me (which was a major step up from "C is for Cookie"), and decided to introduce me to the magic that is Nile Rodgers. Needless to say, I was hooked and wore this one into the ground.

45 years later it still sounds fantastic, doesn't it? A great way to kick off not only the work week but also my little daily kitchen dance party!
